What is skate. insider?

The skate. insider program is the best way to get a chance to get your hands on skate. early in our development journey and provide feedback to help shape the future of the game. We want to get this right and that’s why we want your feedback from the start.

Is this just closed beta/alpha testing?

Yes and no, we're still in the development stages of skate. and are bringing insiders like you into the game much sooner than is the norm in our industry. We’re incredibly passionate about skate. and want to ensure we’re building the best possible game, and that’s why we want you playing and providing valued feedback ahead of a worldwide launch.

Am I eligible to join skate. insider?

Anyone 18+ years of age can sign up to skate. insider! However, we will be inviting players to participate in playtesting based on varying factors defined by our goals for testing at that time in development. Stay tuned to our social channels for more information as invitations go out!

How can I join the skate. insider program?

Am I guaranteed to be invited to playtests?

We’re stoked to get you into the game but we need to scale access to skate. gradually as development progresses to ensure a smooth experience, and that means we can’t guarantee how soon you’ll get to play. We will be inviting players to participate in playtesting based on varying factors defined by our goals for testing at that time in development. Stay tuned to our social channels for more information as invitations go out!

How can I provide feedback?

Once you receive an invitation to playtest you will also receive instructions on how and where to provide feedback. We know you’re stoked to talk about the game but please respect the Pre-Release Feedback Agreement and keep discussion and feedback to the appropriate channels!

How often do playtests happen?

Our playtesting schedule will evolve as development progresses and that means we can’t share a roadmap of when playtests will occur. Signing up to skate. insider is the best way to ensure you don’t miss the chance to play!

Can I talk about what I’ve played?

We know you’re stoked to talk about the game but please respect the Pre-Release Feedback Agreement and keep discussion and feedback to the appropriate channels! This applies to text, screenshots, video and streaming! Stay tuned for more information on when you can share your content with friends, we’re stoked to see what you create!

What platforms can I playtest on?

skate. insider playtests are currently available on PC (via EA app) and on mobile. However, as we expand testing to consoles this Fall we will continue to invite more players across all platforms.

If I get selected for a playtest, will I still have an opportunity to get in future playtests as well?

Being selected for a playtest won't make you ineligible for selection in future playtests, you will remain in the pool for potential selection. We will be inviting players to participate in playtesting based on varying factors defined by our goals for testing at that time in development. Make sure you’re registered as a skate. insider so you don’t miss out.

What platforms will skate. be available on?

Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and we are currently exploring mobile.

Will skate. feature cross-play/cross-progression?

Yes! skate. will be a cross-platform experience connecting you with players across all supported devices. Cross-progression also means you will be able to continue your progress across supported platforms.
